Cooking three dishes at once means holding three recipes in your head. Cook Relay turns them into one plan, one step at a time. When nothing needs you, it suggests a small job, like unloading the dishwasher. Built with Claude, to cook in my kitchen.
Reusable identity verification. Prove who you are once, then share it. Nobody sets out to verify their identity. They set out to get a mortgage. I joined a founding team of six as its only designer and helped shape the product through customer learning. Within a year my role expanded to Head of Product & Design.
The internal platform every health claim passes through. Assessors, underwriters and quality specialists all worked in it, and had workarounds built around software that was reaching end of life. I led research and design for the rebuild, in a programme already in flight without a designer on it.
I came to product design from animation. A Graduate Diploma in Animation Film Design from the National Institute of Design gave me a sense of timing experiences — surfacing information at the moment someone can use it. That's still the part I find interesting: systems that are hard to see all at once, and working out what someone needs to know, and when.
I enjoy cooking. Niki Segnit, Samin Nosrat and Yotam Ottolenghi are the ones I read, more for how they think about food as material than for what to make.
I have a two-year-old daughter. Watching her work out how things fit together is the best part of my days, and it has quietly changed how I think about people meeting something for the first time.
